It was evening and suprisingly low traffic going to berlin. Liek eveyone were turning away on the next highway exit which is crazy. But eventually found a guy just sitting in a car and eating burger from mcdonalds and asked and he agreed because he was driving from ukraine border to denmark and would love company. Big MOP, good enough traffic but we were there at night starting at 10pm so not ideal. Waited for 1h30 with signs and thumbs under a light, found two rides towards the north but not on A2 so not our destination (a motel there 40km away). While walking back towards the pumps to ask people, found a ride towards Netherlands that took us all the way all night, amazing !―Manero

Someone let us out here on the way from Poznan to Berlin. It was very hard to find a further ride towards Germany as there wasn't too much traffic for this direction. If you are in a situation that your driver is changing to the express way but you want to stay on the A2 make sure to get off at the service station some kilometers before.―Anonymous

Me and my friend (two guys) found a ride here straight to Berlin in 20min (it was sunday evening). You can ask people on the gas station or stay just after Mcdonalds (people are in good mood after the meal haha) or stay right on the exit.―Anonymous

Came here on a Thursday morning to find cars constantly lining up to get gas even though there are a lot of pumps. Many cars go north towards Szczecin, but also a significant amount west to Berlin.―Maxim1110

Huge petrol station, loads of truckers stop going in both directions stop here. Just ask around and you can even get a direct lift to Russia ;) You can also try the side of the road, as I did, in order to catch some smaller cars. Took less than a minute to grab a ride to Germany!―Anonymous

It is a perfect spot for those who are coming from east or west and want to go further north or south. Behind the tolls there is like 20 meters between signs of ending the freeway, and beginning the express way, so you are there perfectly legal. And it is easy to get a lift.―Anonymous
