Decent amounts of traffic, there is a spot for cars to pull over just after the bridge, just stand after that, so all in all recommend going here no problem. I was with a girl―Frederik

Found a small truck going to Katowice within 15min. Lots of local traffic as well so just need to be a bit patient. Around 9:30am on a Saturday morning, couple with sign and thumb.Walked here from bus stop before the junction, easy and safe 15min walk not on the highway.

Was here after a lunch so already quite a few trucks were stopping for a day. And maybe here its better to ask just cars because there is quite a few. But still half of them goes to Katowice area. But eventually I got a guy to Warsaw and I think its better to not accept anything closer. Try to get at least past Czestochowa.―kiausiniuvagis
