A terrible spot if you what to catch a ride to Bydhost. Most of the cars are going into the city. You should try some other spot. But in the end we were lucky and got a ride

It looks fine but in the evening also in the morning nobody stoped. other direction is better if you want to go to north. It sounds weird but we were luckier there.

We wanted to go northbut we were unlucky on the north direction of highway. So we decided to go like under Poznan. It was right decision.

Scary place for hitchhikers. It looks like gas station, but there is just parking lot. The gas station is on the other side. You can go there by tunel. The parking lot on our side was empty and cars hardlyever park there. We were lucky anyway. :D

take the trams going south from the trainstation, go to the end of it. you have to cross after the railways, either down the underground or on the bridge. good to hitchhike to the south, to Wroclaw or further and also for the entrance of the highway, either west (berlin) or east (warszawa). there is a gas station there (the second after it was kind of blocked when i was there, there was some construction on the road)

Get to Górczyn (last stop of trams 5, 8, 14 and many buses). Then take a bus 103 to Szreniawa (aproximatelly 15-20 min from Górczyn). After getting off you can easily catch a car in the direction of Leszno, Wrocław.

Junction of the motorway A2 with expressway. High speed of the cars and no emergency lanes to pull over. Hitchhiking here may be dangerous.

A2 motorway junction in both directions east (Warsaw) and west (Berlin). You can get here by bus no. 71 from bus stop Zamek. No emergency lanes and mostly local trafic.

A2 motorway toll booths. You can hitch from here in both directions towards Berlin or Warsaw. There is a bus 108 from Ogrody in Poznan to Dopiewiec (village nearby)

Not a great idea to stop here. cars are riding quite fast and they wont see your sign. Anyway I waited here for about 20 minutes but it was more luck than the advantage of that spot

Wanted to go to Berlin and a girl next to me to Wrocław. She got a lift after cira 1h20m, me - 3h. Better to write Niemcy(Germany) rather than Berlin. Necessary a well visible sign and a lot of patience.

If you are going towards Berlin the toll booths are your best chance. Here you get mostly local traffic.

Not a very good place to hike towards Wrocław - sign with your direction is necessary.

I went from this place many times and it really depends. Sometimes I had to wait like 2 hours and sometimes 5 minutes. It is a really strange place.

We were expieriencing some problems on this spot. When we tried to jump over the fence the first time a security guy came and sent us away. After a few minutes we tried it again and succeeded, but when standing there with our sign a police officer told us that hitchhiking is forbidden over there and wanted to send us away as well. After some discussions we were allowed to stand on the end of the parking lot.
Then it took us about 10 minutes to get away from this place.
