We tried to get to Bydgoszcz or alternatively another place on the way, but we didn't have any luck. We tried both, without and with a sign, in both cases not even a single car stopped. There was one lady who stopped while we had a break, but she only drove a very short distance, not even to Gnozno.

Direction northeast towards Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Torun. It's a bus stop so there's a place to pull over. You can get here from Rondo Srodka by bus 73. Very popular spot.

Direction north towards Pila, Koszalin, Baltic Coast. There's a merge lane with bus stop. Trams 9 and 11 come very close to this place. Traffic jam happens quite often there so cars don't speed up.

Here is also good spot- especially for hh who doesnt want to be an atracttion for a drivers staying in trafic jam before flyover. +is end of city, so everyone go in your direction.

I was going to Torun in the early morning, but the road is not as busy as I thought. I first used a sign but it did not work, so I took it off and just thumbed, which worked better!

Great place to hitch. There's huge traffic over here, so you can catch something fast and easily.

Roundabout on the 11 towards Poznań. There's a bus bay here, but might not be optimal since you're just before the town Oborniki.

The spot itself is excellent in the direction of out of Poznan. There is a very long pulling over area, so cars and even trucks definitely have the time to slow down and stop. Besides, the area comes after a straight part of the road, so you can be seen far beforehand.
