Not much traffic, but it's steady. Plenty of space to pull over. Cars are going slow and have lots of time to see you.A guy stopped after 5 min, but was going a different way. 5 min later another guy stopped and gave me a ride to a reststop 40km from Warsaw.

well first thing a bit confusing was to get there: you just can buy ticket in tram.you need a 30-minutes ticket of lodz (you can buy everywhere in Lodz: 2,40Zloty) and 2 other zones 1,80Zloty each... you can buy at tram driver the 1,80 tickets...

Direction to northern Poland. I`ve never hitchhiked in this place but once I saw there 70-year old traveler (!) and he disappeared after 3-4 minutes. Maybe there is not so much place to stop for a driver but cars are going really slow. You can reach this place by tram n46 from Łódź―Anonymous

Very good place in direction to Poznań, Berlin. Behind the toll gates, a lot of place for drivers to stop.You can try near traffic circle and if it doesnt work you can walk 1km here.―Anonymous

easter monday 8PM, was hitch hiking to Bremen. 10min after I arrived a car with licence plate from Bremen took me all the way, so had big luck, but i guess this place is also good to ask drivers in general to get west.―Anonymous

Well, this place is not this attractive anymore. It's possible to get a ride here, but the road is under construction and barely someone will stop here/almost no drivers here as it's not allowed to stop here. But I see no other spots to catch autostop to Poznań in this location, think I just got lucky.―Goggi

I tried to get to Gdansk or anything toward the north.But this was a failure.
It was Sunday afternoon. The most of the traffic seems to be only a local/suburban.
I was going to Gdansk, but this is only a local trafic, and I got only a 20km ride to Łęczyca
A man who give me this short ride from Łódź, explained, that if I'm targeting the north, I should try to find a spot at Łódź Olechów DW713/A1, as this is a default route from Łódź toward the sea-shore.
