I landed there on late Sunday afternoon (my previous driver left me on the exit 100 meters before), I walked along the exit/entrance, went over the small fance and bridg that dives the entrance and exit, stood at the ends and stopped cars for five minutes, withouth any paper sign. There stopped a passenger car with a couple going directly to Krakow - what was my destination :-)

Best place for hitchiking to direction Kraków [west] only one route, trffic lights and bus stop. You can use bus nr 1 or 22 from Rzeszów Gallery.

City bus no. 22 will get you here (to TRZCIANA) from RZESZOW. It stops by GALERIA RZESZOWSKA (Pilsudskiego/Cieplinskiego crossroads, there's a hitchpoint there too but it's senseless). Get off the bus right after it leaves the main road, walk under it (there's an underground passage) and go about 100m east past the church. You will find a bus stop there. Cars go quite slow and it's a good spot despite being located on the top of the hill.

2 boys waited 12min here with a sign 'KRAKOW' and got a direct ride to their destinaton. It was 12.26, friday 14.06.2013.

In fact some drivers from here cross the road and go back to Kraków/west, so if its raining go here and you will find somebody sooner or later.

Cars going slow. easy to get a car in Krakow direction with the sign.
But you need to take a long walk from the Rzeszow.

Not most safe, but not most dangerous neither. Cars go quite slowly (speed limit there 50 km) and are careful to enter the highway. Not enough space for any truck, enough for passenger cars. It is as I know illegaly to stope there any car, but... ;-)
