Can't rate this place objectively, because as soon as we stepped out of the petrol station a car stopped, even though we weren't even ready. Our plan was to go to the slip road, however I don't think it's necessary. You can hitchhike near the petrol station there is a turnoff to factories, so cars can stop there.
The car was of a salesman from Nový Jičín, however he offered himself to take us beyond Ostrava, which was very generous of him.
As a sidequest I would recommand you the patrol station called Amigo, which is local. They have amazing ice cream and cheap schnitzels for lunch.

Was here after a lunch so already quite a few trucks were stopping for a day. And maybe here its better to ask just cars because there is quite a few. But still half of them goes to Katowice area. But eventually I got a guy to Warsaw and I think its better to not accept anything closer. Try to get at least past Czestochowa.―kiausiniuvagis

arrived here at 5PM, waited until 9PM, slept in a tent behind the gas station. Some guy agreed to take us to Brno the next day. A lot of truck trafić, which we couldn't capitalize on since we're travelling as 2. A lot of locals in this gas station.―sysy

We were a group of 6 people, first car took 4 person after around 30 minutes and then after around 20 minutes the rest already got a car. We are on the way to austria but most of the people go here to krakow and we got one to Rybnik city―ptulish

Just asked everybody to get a lift to Warsaw. After 20 mins found a guy next to toilet area going to Warsaw. Probably the best place to hitch north because some people were going to Gdansk and Lodz.―kiausiniuvagis

most people going to Katowice or Wroclaw, my recommendation is to take the first ride towards Poland to the BP service station in Poland (about 35 km), much easier to find rides there―Uncle sam01
