I tried the day before and many people stop, unfortunately they were all going to Caldas da Rainha or to Lisboa. I was advised not to use my sign "France" as no one was going there obviously. I tried the next day with a sign "Santarém" and the first car stopped!―Raphi

I am a girl and I waited here for a ride to Lisbon for 1 hour. This place si very cosed to the city but there is no place for stopping a car. The main problem may be that I had no sign. After 50 minutes I made a sign and after next 15 minutes a guy took me to Lisbon. On the other hand it is the best option to get off from Óbidos.―Anonymous
