I hitchhik here with my girlfriend, by night. We had a sign GUARDA. There was light for driver see us but the place to stop isn't ideal. And by night, very little trafic. But someone stop to pick-up us and drive us until Guarda.―Railway

We was 2 people (guy and girl) a friday between 5pm and 7pm. e had a sign GUARDA. We walked from city-center and start to make hitchhik walking from big crossing with Av. Capitães de Abril. NOBODY STOP (with the smile, please). We asked in gas-station. A band of friends pick-up us until MAGUALDE.―Railway

Toward A25 or other place in EAST of VISEAU.Normal road with a gas-station. Big trafic on the road, little in the gas-station.
Cars make local journey.
Very difficult to find a lift in ALL this road (since city-center) between 5pm and 7pm. People pass, smiling and don't stop.
Ask to people in gass-station is easier thn wait n the road.
