Last roundabout before the highway, good for both ways North (Braga, Valença, Spain) or South (Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon)―Anonymous

Not the best place because you can't talk to people and not a lot of space to park but we got a ride within 30min - several people pointed us in another direction - maybe it's better on the Avenida de Sao Bento?―Anonymous

Waited there for about 1,5 to 2 hrs to get to Porto with a lot of traffic passing by and finally got picked up by a Port family. the spot itself is not bad, cars drive slowly and have place to stop, but you cannot talk to people which in Portugal definitely is a disadvantage. Maybe the nearby gasstation would have been better.―Anonymous

This is my home town :) If you want to get to Braga, this is the perfect spot. 20 mins should be enough.―Anonymous

This is a gas station on the way to Porto and Barcelos. You can get there easily if you walk through the hidden stairs on the back of the train station. Once you get down you will see a bridge to cross the highway. The first time I went there I got a ride the first time I asked a driver! :)―Anonymous
