No luck today with hitchhiking in Portugal, waited for 3 hours on a Sunday morning until afternoon, which is so far my first that long of a wait ever, and then eventually took a train and then a bus to Faro, as I had a flight next morning from there.―anettlee17

A small gas station on the way to Coimbra. Not a lot of traffic, but since the road out of Montemor didn't look very good, we decided to try our luck here and the first driver asked gave us a ride to our destination, Tentugal.―Anonymous

We just arrived in a spot, start to write on the sing « Nazaré ». And one guy stoped his car, took us and go to Nazaré…. (Lucky maybe!)You have to know : there is a ferry boat to crosse the river (free !), ask the locals ! 🌸
