Depois de dormir no carro verde abandonado no posto Prio, já que era uma noite meio fria, ao despertar já segui pra pista e o Mestre Marco de Sampa parou pra mim e me levou pra Lisboa. O ajudei também com algumas cargas já que ele trabalha com transporte. Foi massa.―Jurobola

Aqui estava usando uma plaquinha pra principal ou Santiago do Cacém, e rapidamente um mano, Luís mota, numa Mercdedez tunada parou pra mim e me ofereceu pra Vila nova dizendo que lá se não desse certo na noite, pelo menos seria tranquilo pra dormir, e que de lá pela manhã também saia muita gente pra Lisboa. Aceitei. Obrigado.Tem uma grande homenagem Vasco da gama na rotatória, herói?

This is pretty much the only spot to get to Lisbon. We waited here for three hours and no one stopped. Try hitching here on Friday afternoon or Sunday evening when people are going to/from Lisbon. Or try shorter distance (Grandola or Setubal).―Anonymous

We tried to hitchhike from here during the Sines Festival (fridayafternoon). But without any succes. So after some hours in the sun we gave up and took a bus instead. Sad. Cause we wanted to meet some locals... And cause we arrived way too late at our destination :-(―Evelyne

we were two (boy and girl) and hitchhiked almost on the roundabout. After 15 minutes we got a ride direct to Lisbon. (Monday afternoon after Easter). We had 2 signs (one with the name of our destination and the second sign with "Por favor"). A lot of drivers responded to it.―Anonymous

Traveled in 2 groups, one got a ride to sines after 60 monutes of asking around, the other after about 3 hours. But it was late (started at 6:30pm) and we needed a specific destination (sines).
Seemed great to get to faro or generally south tho :)
