Don't accept lifts to the village of Poljane if you're not going there! It's a very bad hitching spot. You should get a lift at leas to Gorenja vas.―Makuc

Needed 15min to get a ride to munich. We asked the people at the gas station. A lot of german, austrian and dutch tourists stop here before the go to Austria. We were standing there at 12pm and the german summer holidays were over since 3 days but a lot of people were still there.―Burningpeanut

Very good spot. In the middle of school days full of students from the local highschool, but don't let them scare you, there are also a lot of cars going that way.Downside: in the of 2015 a bypass road will be built, so the traffic will reduce significantly on this spot.
