As a male hitchhiker, I waited here for approx. 15 minutes with a sign saying "LJ" on a Friday afternoon.It was a nice trip and the guy who picked me up drove me all the way to LJ, even if he was living in Kamnik.

This is a good spot to hitchhike towards Maribor.It's right before the entrance on the highway. The spot is after you pass Vransko. It's actually a small road that goes to the right, from the main road, to a house.
The spot is very good because the cars can see you from the distance and they have enough room to park and pick you up.

This good spot is in Vransko's gas-station.A good spot to hitchhike to Ljubljana, as an alternative to the highway.

No one is using this road to go to LJ, everybody gos to the highway. It's better to walk up to the Grof hotel and try from the bus station there.―adeljindrova
