Bon emplacement avant l'autoroute, les personnes peuvent s'arrêter sur le côté et ne vont pas vite.

I usually like to avoid being dropped off at parking lots with toilets but no other infrastrucre, like this one. But due to a planning mistake I had to be dropped off here.
And I must say, I'm positively surprised! Despite low traffic, I found a ride past Ljubljana within 10 minutes because a really friendly Austrian dude started helping me out by asking around for me.

Not crowded, but somehow managed to find a ride super quickly because a friendly Austrian guy asked around for me while I was trying some other cars. The people who took me drove a Tesla and wanted to drop me off in Ljubljana but ended up driving me much further to the exact location I needed to be.

Worth to go there. I was going to exit ramp with sign Zagreb and rider approached me before I started to hike.
You can get there from Cesta Dveh Cesarjev, then go down to the bushes between golf field and highway. There is a small path. Go with the highway fence to the metal gate. Gate is closed but just next to it there is a hole in the fence.

Most traffic goes to Lublana. I had a sign with Zagreb on, but it can be really difficult to get someone further than LJ.

The spot seems good but it wasn’t that good. We (3 guys) waited 1:30h and finally got picked up to Postojna.

Cars going in to the E61 are slowing down thanks to the turn. It is not the most comfortable place to stop for a car but it worked for us regardless.

Very easy to get to with 1€ City Bikes. We initially just used hand signal but then we eventually got a ride with Postojna sign at the bus stop. decent amount of trafic a lot of supportive waves and beeps :).

We got to Postojna (ultimately Rijeka) quite quickly, but a much better spot is at the highway entrance.

Not much traffic to Croatia, many full cars and families, most going North East, finally got a Swedish couple to take three of us Southish, where I got out at Novo Mesto to try my luck again for Zagreb.

We were trying different strategies (me and gf), what worked in the end was sitting right at the exit of gas station before the parking.
Most of traffic for holidays, full cars - we were saved by a guy going to Belgrade and got to the last rest stop before turn to Bosnia :)

Two cars stopped. The first one very nice but going the wrong way. The second one was a lovely family used to hitchhiking and hosting people on couch surfing. They invited me to stay and join them at a 2cv car festival that was visiting town. Unfortunately, I had to decline because they lived so close to where I was leaving but generally a good spot.

Traffic is coming from multiple directions towards the highway and there's lots of space for them to stop at the bus stop.

Even though this spot was very praised, and there's nice markings by fellow hitchhikers on a traffic sign, I had to wait 1,5 h to get a ride towards Trieste. Even got middle-finger'd once. Gave up with using a sign in half an hour. After 1h 15min the first car stopped for me, but was going to Novo mesto. A while after that, a super nice and helpful Slovenian mother picked me eventually up and took me to the halfway and donated me some mixed nuts and drove home. And then she came back to me in order to drive me to Trieste!!! <3 so the wait was deffo rewarded

There's not too many people going to postojna, but plenty to Ljubljana

a lot of german, austrian and hungarian cars here going north and east as well as slovenians going to maribor, less traffic for zagreb but that was maybe the time of the year. very busy spot but in summer mostly families or cars with not enough room for two hitchhikers. we tried first asking for rides to zagreb but got a lift after we put novo mesto on a sign and asked around.

thumbing didn't seem to work, barely anyone stopped to ask where we were going (2 of us), and they mostly went either to the city or Maribor direction (we were trying for Hungary straight)

Average traffic, not much, not empty. I held a sign saying Zagreb, got a truck driver going there.
