I hitched a ride to Salamanca from here on my way to Porto, after getting a coach from Madrid to Avila to avoid getting stuck in the big city...30 minutes wait, shade from the tree :)―Anonymous

For getting to Madrid you can just stand here on the Highway. There is enough space to park and since there is a ramp the traffic is not so fast.―Anonymous
