The instructions here are good, were here on a sunday so obviously a bit slower but plenty of Traffic coming through. Best place to head south out of Valencia, worth the trek

take the metro line 1 in the direction to Villanueva de Castellón and get off at Sant Ramon. Walk over the tracks, then a bit to left in the direction to the motorway. then follow the motorway to the right for over 25. If you want to get to the south walk through the tunnel and then right. after 500 m you are there. You have to jump over the fence. there is a special podest for us chosen few to jump over the fence.
If you want to get to the North just stay ahead.

Very good place, 1st car took us after one min to the direction of Valencia. There is a bus stop and the cars have the place to stop and pick you up.

Good spot to go to the south, just before entering the highway. There is a gas station where there are a lot of trucks.

It took us about an hour to find a ride here. We tried both, standing with a sign at the road and asking around at the gas station. In the end, asking around worked, but there is a lot of local traffic! Try to find somebody to get you onto the highway, then take it from there.
Standing with a sign didn't work at all for us. Cars are very fast and it's hard for them to stop. I think it can work, but probably the gas station is the safer way to find a ride.

Not a good place, at least on Sunday. The restaurant is closed, gas station looks oldschool, 99% local traffic. In the end i got rescued by germans with big old trucks who were searching everywhere for strong air pump for their wheels. If you have a chance to go to next station near Massalaves, go there, it looked much more promissing.

A small gas station with not a lot of traffic and many people don't go far. Nonetheless, there are some tourists on this route and we (2) ended up finding a ride within 30 minutes or so to Murcia (could have gone further to Cartagena and continued the next day with them to Málaga).
In the end we decided to visit Málaga and take a BlaBlaCar from there.
The A7 is challenging to hitch-hike, because there are very very few service stations. If there are any, they are often off the highway. Had we not found a ride straight to Murcia, I think we might have been stuck there.
However, if you want to go further (Granada, Málaga), try to find a ride that takes you at least to Granada. This will be hard to find, but probably worth it.

Very nice place to find a ride to Murcia or Granada or any direction South! I truck took me to murcia.

You can arrive here by train or doing Autostop from Valencia. Just 20 km away from Valencia.
