The gas station has the advantage to be accessible by foot in one hour from Burgos. However, it's quite small. I was there on a Sunday and there were not so many people. I preferred hitching at the entrance of the highway rather than the station to maximise the number of cars that could see me.―Raphi

I tried asking around at the gas station but all the cars were full or we're going towards Salamanca. There are a lot of truck drivers and foreigners (France, UK, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland...) at the gas station, but many are families. After I decided moving to the entrance of the highway, a Spanish guy exited from the highway, and promised me to take me to Valladolid (my sign). Turns out he was going further and I ended up in Burgos.―Raphi

It's an alright station. Decent flow of new cars coming in and some trucks sleeping/taking a break.―VeikkaK

Not the busiest service station but I got suuuper lucky as I got a ride to Burgos from the first people I asked. There was maybe 3 trucks and about 20 cars at 11am on a monday. Camping here is a bit awkward too, closest woods are ~30min walk away.―VeikkaK

We (Boy/Girl) we didn't ask around the Restaurant just at the gas station and the fifth person was willing to take us to Bilbao !! Really good spot even for going to france or so - yes people have full cars but you just have to wait and be patient and maybe a sign isn't smart at this station :) 🌱―Felimelideli

We (Boy & Girl) asked around and some people go to Bilbao and other Places but we figured the next bigger gas station is smarter :)We just asked a woman to take us there and she kindly did 🌱

Not a great volume of traffic coming through here, but I managed to get a lift after 30 minutes. The traffic is slow moving as it joins the road to Madrid, there's a safe spot to pull over and it's also in the shade. A good spot...―Anonymous

Took me about two hours to get a ride to Madrid, but that was on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Normally, I expect it to be quicker.―Anonymous

I wanted to go to Salamanca and waited 60 minutes (Sun 3:00pm). Most cars go to Madrid, few to Salamanca. Truck drivers stop there to have a night rest at this time so they cannot take you.―Anonymous

What a wonderfull adventur to catch a bus at 7.00 am from Burgos to Castañares, walk from bus station to toll (buy legals ways), arrive at toll and meet a guy ordering to you to comeback in Burgos by foot and by the highway (of course) !!!We last 4 hours because of him. DON'T GO HERE !!!
