Good visibility and plenty of space for cars to pull over. I had "Balaguer" on my sign, where I intended to take a bus to Barcelona, but the guy who picked me up was going to Barcelona too, so he took me all the way. He was a very smart and interesting young man, with whom I had a many things in common. I just wish I'd been less tired from hiking all to be more attentive to the conversation. Hitchhiked from the exit with a sign for Zaragoza for the solar eclipse. Got a couple offers to Valencia and Tarragona and even met a hitchhiking couple going to Valencia for the solar eclipse. I found an Italian who was going to Zaragoza also and we were both asking and signing at the exit for a ride. Took a while due to so little people going that way but eventually I got a ride with a Colombian person who took me to the centre of Zaragoza (sadly the other hitchhiker went for food when this happened).―Arcturus

In theory, this should be a great hitchhiking spot. The cars are exiting a roundabout, so they're not going that fast, and visibility is great, so they can see you from afar. On top of that, you can also signal to cars leaving the gas station. Despite all this, I waited for longer than I expected. In the end, and old couple in an audi took me somewhere where I could catch a local train to Barcelona. The whole thing still took shorter than the rail replacement that I chose to skip. I had a sign with "Berga" and "Manresa" on it.―Mandarina787

Fairly busy gas station with restaurant.Exit ramp is not super long but it's ok to wait there with sign.
No shade to hide in while waiting for a car.
It was Sunday, so I think lot of people was on journey home.
I was heading to Barcelona and got ride to Zaragoza.
Behind the gas station is little fores suitable for hammock.

This is one of the best spots in Manresa to go to Barcelona! We tried the two roundabout more in the north before for 1h15 but it was not working.So we mooved and get a course in 2 min!!
The spot is perfect with great space for the cars to stop before the roundabout.

Perfect spot. Sunday morning, lots of international and long distance cars, going in all directions. Couldn't find cardboard so just thumbed, and got a ride all the way to Barcelona, my ultimate destination.―friki

We stood on a gas station without thumb or sign and some nice catalunyan guy asked us where are we going, we told him we need to get to the countryside so we can sleep and he offered to us that he will took us to his home so we can build up a tent on his garden.
