I was dropped off here coming from Spain. But at this spot only 2 cars going back to Spain stopped for me, noone in the direction to Porto. So I took the local train to help me.

Try not to get dropped off here. It's indeed a spot, but on the highway and the cars go really fast here. The parking is closed btw so not a valid rest stop really. (Sign: Porto)

There is a parking lot and a roundabout slowing people down. Many people go towards Ourense and have a stop at the shopping Centre before

I tried to go from Vigo to Ourense, but it was impossible because It was rainning all time during 6 hours, everyone who stop his car went to Porriño(next town), so finally I went there and then A car picked me up and brought me to a Service Area in the highway and I continued my trip.

PS I hope the explanation be good beacuse my english is not so good. Good luck

I tried it with sign to Porto without success. Then changed for Tui and after 30 minutes catched. Place is not so good because there is no place to stop before bus stop so all cars are doing it illegally

We (1girl+1guy) hitched a ride from here to Tui in like 20 minutes. The road leads to the southern entrance of the highway AP-9. After the zebra crossing there's a bus stop where drivers can pull off.
