Nice place to wait for a ride. Often people driving out here are locals and don't do long distance rides. (some people said), however got a ride to Ayamonte after a while.―Anonymous

Still people selling stuff there, we had similar feelings about their influence on our hitchhiking. Not a lot of space for the cars to stop. After ~1 we blindly decided to reach by bus from nearby Plaza de Armas a seemingly good spot where wr had more luck.―Ewelinalucy

We (2 peepz) tried hitchhiking on the split of the road directly after the bridge, there is a traffic light, but we didn't manage to get a ride for two hours. Thought about people could stop on the bus line, not sure if that was obvious for them. Also because of the traffic light buses stopped in front of us and you don't really get seen. Local pep recommended the spot (while waiting more outside Sevilla), guess you need more luck. :)―Anonymous

This spot could be good but hitching as two here turned out difficult, we had some people selling stuff next to us and they scared people.―Kapten kastrull

It's not a bad location but not good respond for hitchhiker.During Holy Week holiday, I try to hitchhike to Faro,Portugal with sign.
But no car stop in 2 hours although a lot of car and busy. I gave up and took bus finally.
I think it's not good idea to hitchhike in Spain. I never try again!

The gas station doesn´t get a lot of traffic, but on the entrance there´s enough space for the cars to stop.Getting there: from Plaza de Armas take any bus pasing by Hospital San Juan de Dios in Bormujos. From there there´s a short walk to the station.
There are bus numbers and the route with all bus stops mentioned on Plaza de Armas.

By the way, Plaza de Armas is not so long from the hitching spot that is closest to the center of Sevilla.―Ewelinalucy

Bad spot, there is no room to pull over, you should get out of town first, after 30 minutes a young woman knew it was going to be hard for us to get out of seville so she drove us out for 20 kms. The gas station is even worse, not many cars, and most of them go to ikea.―Ars Libera
