We met a couple standing there for 13 hours. Fortunately they managed to get a ride soon after our arrival. The two of us had luck though and after talking with the drivers we got a ride across the French border with a truck driver.

Guy and girl with a sign BURGOS. A car stop after 30 minutes waiting. Before we saw so much car passing by here and wanted not pick-up us...

With my girlfriend, with a sign BURGOS, we saw only one car in 20 minutes.

Our map show us an other entrance (the 118) at 500m from here. We can see the 118 from here and see there is so more trafic there. So, we decided to go there and it was working.

In 2006 i hitchhike from here towards Burgos. I stood with a cardboard saying Burgos, while i went in the petrol station to talk to the people tanking. It took me about 1 hour to get a good ride.

Some friendly workers would take me too, but the didnt go far. If would try this spot again, i would ask them to take me o the petrol station near Cigales, already in the highway to Burgos. This other petrol station is better, and often people traveling far stop there.

Find that petrol station spotted in this wikimap.

This is a petrol station, no far form Valladolid. Its a good spot for hitchhiking towards Burgos, France, Cataluña. A couple of times i got rides to France from this place.

However other days i had to wait for more than 1 hour to get something.

The problem is that i havent find yet a good way to get here by public transport. Normally i ask a friend to take me to this place so i can start hitchhiking.

Toward PALENCIA - BURGOS.

Absolutly NO TRAFIC.

But, from here, you can go by foot at the entrance 118. Before the ramp (at entrance 118) there is lot of trafic, place to stop and it's legal.

DON'T LAST YOUR TIME AND GO THERE DIRECTLY.

Toward PALENCIA - BURGOS.

Lot of trafic and lot of place to stop. Drivers can see you from far away.

Legal to hitch-hik here.

Castile sucks for hitch hiking. Tried three different spots, nobody picked me up

Lots of cars, place to stop, good visibility, but none took us to Salamanca. We gave up After three hours.

Not ideal to get to and staff a bit funny about hitching from here. Plenty of people going through Spain or to Portugal.

No one stop for Burgos. I ask to lot of people they all go in opposite directions.

Got a ride to Valladolid after 25 mins of asking people. The station employee was mad at us though and said it's not allowed to hitchhike there.

third spot I tried to get to Salamanca through Tordesillas but again, Castile sucks for HH. Valladolid is one of VOX’s bastions (fascists) in Spain, no wonder.
