I hitchhiked in two places in this road. The first one was in the first curve after the bridge that crossed over the river Rato. Here I spent 30 min. after a kind driver take me till the gas station that are after the traffic circle. Here I wait for more than two hours. In the gas station there are W.C. There is no shade or roof to hide. Average traffic. I went direction to Ponferrada.―Pabloml

Find a spot along this road. I walked, but it's far from the centre, so maybe a bus is better. Used a sign for Ribadeo and got a lift in 30min. Might be better from after motorway. Possibility for Santiago/A Coruña from Motorway entry.―Anonymous

Direction to Santiago. Not very frequently attendant road but good place to try. There is space to stop the car and after the 5 pm there is a shadow, important in the summer. Opposite is the bus stop with some roof to hide.―Anonymous

waited 2,5km up the road for an hour, didn't work. moved to this spot, got a ride in 20 minutes in the direction of Ponferrada. could be useful for Madrid and A Coruna also. there is a bus station and a small parking―anna
