Great spot, 10min walk from Benidorm Internodal Train Station. The walk is a tiny bit sketchy but it works. You NEED a sign, we were lucky and got to valencia in 10min :)

If going down to Javea, Oliva, Denia, etc., good place. Cars don't go too fast and have a place to pull over after the bus stop. From here, caught one of those rides that makes hitchhiking all worth it. :)))

Realy nice spot for hitchiking to Valencia. Lot of foreigners, we got ride after twenty minutes, stood there with a sign Valencia, boy and girl, it was evening, probably weekday

Not Great not terrible. I asked people at the gas station for ride to Alicante. Lot of local traffic. I gave up and got a Blablacar.

Two guys trying to get ride to Barcelona. No luck after couple hours of waiting. Two many lanes so it’s hard to stop from further ones. We took train to Pucol where is better spot. Train was 2,10€

A nice guy picked us up, he even got us some food. There was no metro because of the catastrophic flooding in Valnecia and he was volunteering there.
Betera in general is a good spot to hitchhike 😁🌱

Good spot for the direction East. There are traffic lights in front of you and good space for cars to stop behind you.

For hitching south towards Alicante. Tried approx. one hour at the gast station and got a lift to Sueca (a small town on the way), try to stick to the highway, though! (September 2010)
