I tried to go from Vigo to Ourense, but it was impossible because It was rainning all time during 6 hours, everyone who stop his car went to Porriño(next town), so finally I went there and then A car picked me up and brought me to a Service Area in the highway and I continued my trip.PS I hope the explanation be good beacuse my english is not so good. I tried it with sign to Porto without success. Then changed for Tui and after 30 minutes catched. Place is not so good because there is no place to stop before bus stop so all cars are doing it illegally―M.chwedczuk

You can access the pay toll from this spot by jumping a fence. I would not recommend it though, I got kicked by the workers of the place in few minutes.―Anonymous

We (1girl+1guy) hitched a ride from here to Tui in like 20 minutes. The road leads to the southern entrance of the highway AP-9. After the zebra crossing there's a bus stop where drivers can pull off.―Anonymous

I have seen people hitchhiking from here to get on the AP-9 highway. I would not recommend to try it here. Cars are coming from different directions, there are curves and there is not really much space for cars to stop. I would rather try 100 meters before the bridge. Still you will encounter a lot of local traffic. Good luck.―Anonymous

I often use this spot to hh from Pontevedra to Santiago. Many drivers avoid the highway (I'm originally from here, so I even do that myself when I drive).There's a parking lane which is often almost empty, so cars can stop easily.
