There's a small gas station in El Ejido where you only get local traffic. Don't expect to get straight to Malaga from here. Almeria is doable though.

This is the best spot in Almeria; traffic lights, long straight road, plenty of place to stop and even street lights for some night time hitching. However, be ready for a long hitch since you're in Southern Spain.

The gas station here looks like a perfect spot, especially to Granada but we waited for 3 hours in vain. 99,9% local traffic. Don't waste your time here. Instead take the Southern route from the city.

Loads of traffic, main road out south. Took 3 hitchers 20 minutes to get a lift, particularly good early in the morning as there seems to be more traffic.

There is a petrol station here in the way to El Eijido but people in the road don´t seem very HH-friendly and most of the ppl in the petrol station were from the village so they didn´t take us anyway. Be patient.

This is a very good spot to HH bcause there is an stop sign and car have to break so you can speak with the drivers. It was pretty fast

Small gas station, paking lot is closed, very little traffic (sunday), mostly to Alcanta or Elche. But in the end got a car to Almeria.

Monday. 1 person (F), 11am with a "Malaga" sign, waited for 6 hours with no luck. A little bit further were standing 2 guys with bicycles, also with no luck. This spot might be good if you start very early, or maybe it's better to get to the next roundabout
