We (2 people) got a ride to Barcelona after waiting about 100 minutes and asking people at the parking area and gas station. Most people were heading south or towards Zaragoza. Still, it’s a good spot because you can easily talk to people and there’s a steady flow of cars.―ninchenbienchen

Day before (Sunday) I came here at around 3 pm and nobody took me till next day but next day it took me only 2 hours to get a ride to a gas station on outskirts of Murcia. Unfortunately there is no space for tent nearby thanks to a big grass but you can just sleep on it without a tent in summer aldo you probably will end up getting bitten by a lot of mosquitoes like me―Anonymous

Knowing waiting times and average distances in Spain I think I was pretty lucky. Near this spot there is place to set up a tent in woods nearby between gas station and railroad, it's guarded by a fence but there is place where you can easly cross over it without jumping over it―Anonymous

It's a calm but still flowing gas station. You get traffic from both directions and some local traffic. Took me almost two hours but many people had full cars or went the other direction.―Menno

It took quite a while to get ride, but we’re two guys. Our sign was to Barcelona, but we got ride to Benicarló. There’s faucet for water and toilet close so it’s good place. Also some hills where you can camp like us. The view was pretty nice.If you’re traveling alone, there’s plenty of trucks to ask for rides.

A nice guy picked us up, he even got us some food. There was no metro because of the catastrophic flooding in Valnecia and he was volunteering there.Betera in general is a good spot to hitchhike 😁🌱

best place to hitchhike towards Castellon. About 1min of waiting. And train from Valencia just 3euros.―Anonymous

If you are anywhere within the Valencia Cercanias area, including Gandia or even Castelleon (even going north!), please take the train to Les Valls and use this spot. From the station, walk a few hundred metres over the bridge and down the dirt road, pick an orange, before climbing over the fence. Hold out a sign for France, Barcelona, or for south, Murcia, Alicante, wherever... This place works day and night, and guarantees you a much faster ride on the AP-7 instead of waiting hours elsewhere for a ride on the N-340!―Anonymous

The worst place ever. At first when I wanted to start catching at paeje, a worker came to me and said that i couldn't hitchhike there and sugested me to go to lawn next to toll building. But after half an hour of catching another worker came and said that he was calling the police. So I'd to change my plans for that day. Sagunto is much better option.―Anonymous

A very good place. cars driving directly to Italy. Go around and talk with people. It is better to take a TRAIN also to Pucol- goes every half an hour from station Nord (Valencia)―Goracio

Do not confuse it with the petrol station in V23. Take a look at the map.The path(normal street) is exactly after you meet the juntion with the highway(you are under it) on the left. At the end there is no street, you see the huge station on your left side, you cross the oranges fields and you jump over the fence. Really great spot.―Alexan

Very good place, worth the treck! Got a lift to Barcelona after 2min!More precision: Take the train from Station Nord (around 20min, 2.65euro), then once arrived in Puzol ask the roundabout (redonda) on the "carretera de Barcelona", here you have a supermarket, go behing and follow the small road close to the orange trees that lead you to the bridge. Follow the road under the bridge, so you will arrive on the other side of the "autovia" and "autopista" (dont be afraid even if you going North), then walk around 2km, you will pass a bridge above the highway (you will see the petrol station), just after the bridge turn left to follow the path between the highway and the orange trees. Here you are! The guy who discover this is a genius, thanks a lot! around 40min walking.
Note: if your Spanish is not so good, precise that you want to go to the petrol station of the highway (autopista) and not the one of the "autovia" (free road). In Puzol it is hard to know where you have to go at the beginning, there is a lot of road with bridge, so it is confusing.

If your car goes to Barcelona and you want to go further (North), ask the driver to drop you off in the big gas station (Porta de Barcelona). Then ask truck drivers, perfect place to go to France!―Amede74

After one hour of asking truckers and family cars, we got a hike to Barcelona. Two old Catalunyan intelectualls with a grandson who tought me how to solve the Rubik's Cube.
This is a wonderfull spot but still hiking in Spain takes more time than in France/Germany.

The main description above is fairly accurate, except the first road at the supermarket stops being the CV-306 and becomes the CV-3007. Turn left directly after the autovia exit, follow the small road, but when the road joins another road, turn left about 200 metres after.
