Most spanish i talked to did not go to Zaragoza. After some time i got a ride with a german women who was going to the french pyrenees. I went with her to Zaragoza to continue to Barcelona. It was around 9 am. I would recommend this spot when going out of Madrid, since other Spots of hitchhiking out of Madrid didn‘t go well. It‘s a gas station + restaurant and there is fairly good traffic.―Pasch

Not the busiest service station but I got suuuper lucky as I got a ride to Burgos from the first people I asked. There was maybe 3 trucks and about 20 cars at 11am on a monday. Camping here is a bit awkward too, closest woods are ~30min walk away.―VeikkaK

Took a bus from the city until here. It was a cold and rainy sunday, coming and back from station to the spot many times, until a guy pick me up and ride until near Barcelona. It was my first ride in Europe but it was better than expected.―umajornadapelomundo

well we started here at this gas station wich is across from some statue that is supposed to represent the sun and the pyrnee, on a round aboutafter some ramblings with ppl in spanish with not much proper communication, long story short we spent all day walking to some big thing called the Plaza some big shopping complex, they are still building the roads up there just walk in the direction mardid along side the highway there is plenty of feild and safe ways to walk its about 1300 hundred mtr walk, we got a ride with a post courrier who drove average 170 al the way so it was pretty efficient; good luck ps the staff at the repsol where quite nice so smile

It took a while to arrive on bus and then walk 20minutes, but the first lorry driver we asked offered us a lift. You need to ask stopped lorries/cars. Easy to go to Madrid.―Jackortega

Ask here for a lift to PLAZA, a large shopping centre near the autopista. When you arrive, walk down the autopista direction madrid for about 1km and you will find a petrol station.

First I tried it at this place but cars are too fast and won´t stop.So I moved a bit down the road TOWARDS THE CITY CENTER. Where AVENIDA DE LA EXPO joins Autovia del Ebro cars are slowed down right after the curve by the PEDESTRIANS TRAFFIC LIGHTS crossing Av del Ebro to the train station.
From there I got a ride all the way to Bilbao after aprxtly 2.5h.
(I don´t know how to add a new place to the map. If you understand the description, feel free to do so.)

2 boys HHed there a truck going to Barca in 30 min, however, to me the spot is not really the best, you can only ask or stop people from the gas station, there's not much space for people from the road to stop. But If you speak a bit Spanish or you're alone or two girls the spot is good enogh and according to wiki its not really easy to get out of Zrz to Barca so possibly the spot is even great :)―ESko

I arrived there during the night/morning and spend night behind the gas station. There is one "nice" place where you can sleep under the "roof".Second day one columbian truck driver saw me from the road and returned to pick me up to Lleida(he was going to Barcelona then)
