One male 40+, with a sign "Oslo", one big and one small backpacks, sunny and warm day. Going to Oslo. Not too good place. Quite little traffic (a car every 2 minutes). Not really a place to stop. But cars go really slowly and there is good visibility.
I waited only 15 minutes. The fact that I was wearing a t-shirt with a big Polish emblem helped me loooads. A Polish couple, who stopped, told me that they had done it only coz they saw that t-shirt.
They were superb nice and took a bit longer way to drop me after Kristinehamn.
I'm not sure how long I'd have to wait if I didn't have the t-shirt.

One male 40+, with a sign "Oslo", one big and one small backpacks, sunny and warm day. Going to Oslo.A bus stop, good visibility and enough space even for a lorry to stop. Not very busy road, a few cars per minut.
I waited only 20-30 minutes. The fact that I was wearing a t-shirt with a big Polish emblem helped me loooads. A Polish guy who passed me already, turned to talk to me, only coz he saw I was Polish. Initially he was supposed to take me to Sodertalje (about 25 kms), but in the end he took me 140 kms and dropped at a petrol station by a highway.
I'm not sure how long I'd have to wait if I didn't have the t-shirt.

By the grace of God, i managed to get a lift here. Standard motorway experience I do not recommend. But anything is possible with Christ our lord.―SunnySupertramp
