petrol station closed as of 10/01/2025, but cars still stop for coffee and bathroom. probably a better stop when open (and more patient than me), i was worried by the low traffic and took the first reasonable ride after asking ppl having breakfast in the restaurant.particularly good for zurich, and a fair amount of german cars

Got here with a young fella. Arrived on a tuesday arround 2:30 pm. We thought it'll get easy because a lot traffice is going through there. While looking for a good spot we saw a car on the side with number plate of Ticion. So we asked the guy and he took us all the way to Bellinzona :D―Anonymous

No place for cars to stop going from one tunnel to the next. If you get dropped off here, your best bet is to get someone from the town to drive you to the petrol station before/after Gotthard tunnel.―Anonymous
