There is a wide road shoulder just after a turn, so people can stop relatively safely towards south.

TO ZURICH

difficult to get rides because the gas station is on the other side of the ride direction. Also most cars which stop there go south.

SOUTH:
more chancce to CHUR and even further to Italy.

IMPORTANT:
at the moment there are roadworks and therefore there will be much less frequency there

TO CHUR:
Its quite ok. There is a gas station/restaurant on the other side of the street but you better avoid it. Its much better to stand here.

SOUTH:
better use the other exit but if you get dropped here, take a chance

TO ZURICH

Bus 12 (pls doublecheck) to Haldenstein. You will get dropped left of the roundabout. Cross and walk towards to gas station. You can either stand with a sign or ask people at the gas station.

i found it very difficult to get away north at this station. it's a huge stations which makes it hard to get into personal contact with people. may be it works better when heading south, nearly everyone i was talking to went south.

I'm sharing the oppinion, that the station is just kind of too big. Anyway, i got dropped off there at 10pm and ended up waiting the whole night until 5am until i found some truck driver who took me all the way to Milan.
In the nighttime the station is almost abandoned, and the Restaurants are closed.

I didn't see much roadworks anymore. Hitchhiked from here over Liechtenstein to Austria. Difficult, because there is no direct highway to Austria and only one Station for both sides . Once I was in Austria, it was much easier.
