On a Saturday 5:00pm we (1girl, 1boy) were hitchhiking to Zurich, we had to wait for 1 hour. I think this is quite good for switzerland.

Stand in front of the bus stop (not further!) and people can drive in - worked pretty good on a late September morning (at 09:00am I got a lift towards Zürich and beyond).

25 april 2015 the Swiss Hitchhikers championship was held. At leas 4 teams got stuck here, it was a cloudy day and we were going in direction of the Gotthard tunnel. We the first to leave got out of there in 2 h 30 min. We decided to take a ride to Kriens. The last team to leave waited for 5 h and 30 min. I hear this can be a pretty good spot but that day it was a trap.

Hitch-hiked to Bern, nobody took me during 5 hours...! (maybe I could find a better place but I had no idea where :) after 5 hours waiting I got ride to a gas station near Luzern but not much cars were going there so I went on an expensive train to Bern...
