It worked very well.
Some stoped first but went into the wrong direction. After that we got a ride in the right direction. Very nice conversation!

Bad spot.
Theoretically I should work because there is a gas station with space to park right next to it.
We asked around when people stopped for a refill and also show our sign.
However, it was hard to find a ride.
We got a ride for about 10 min. up to the highway from where we found another ride after 15 minutes. I recommend going for that if possible.

Good spot but difficult for cars to stop - saturday afternoon however wasnt too busy - 1 car every 25 seconds roughly so it meant that they had time to stop without causing traffic

Very active service station. Had no trouble finding a ride standing at the exit. In 10 minutes I was offered 2 rides to Zurich but I declined and the 3rd few minutes after took me past Bern. Probably possible to find rides to Lausanne and Geneva if you're lucky.

dont try it here.... all of the traffic is passing by a nother street (bundesstraÃŸe) and if not, you can wait for quite a long time until someone stops. in this case this nice person just drives up to the next village.....so if you r stuck in here pray or take the train

Parking lot beyond the crossroads direction St. Gallen. There is probably nobody going to St. Gallen, all the people use the motorway.

Entrance to the tunnel. Very bad place, no place to stop but down in Wattwil you get only traffic going from the town.
