Around here is probably the best spot for getting out of Spiez - either up on the A8 or towards Wimmis (less traffic).―Anonymous

Okay spot (best in Wimmis) for going further into the Simmental up to Zweisimmen. You can stand in the middle of the roundabout to catch all the traffic, or before it. However there is not a lot of traffic and drivers might not like the space there is to stop.―Anonymous

Although I got a ride within ten minutes it's not the best spot to be. There is little to no space for a vehicle to stop. Google Maps / Streetview is showing old images. Zebra crossing is gone, road is smaller now. Also no option for cars to stop on the bridge as well.I had someone waving at me from the gas station. So I guess I was lucky this time.
