A lot of Traffic, a lot room to stop and a lot of visibility, but somehow a kind of long wait (by turkish standards). Still pretty good to catch a truck to Ankara and beyond.

It is not a bad point to catch a truck. But if you need to move quickly and wanna catch a car, this point is not that good.

You can just stand on the side of the road here, there is plenty of space for cars to stop and they aren't that fast yet. Great spot for the direction of konya

Cars coming fast, not much place to stop, but this whole region in Turkey is very good for hitchhiking and we were picked up immediately anyway while we were walking.

I have been there many times. The Staff of the Shell is often happy to speak to the drivers fueling up to find find a ride for you. Otherwise you can get a sign and go to the roundabout or ask people yourself. Trucks often go further to Adana or sometimes the direction of kappadokya.

It was a very short wait in the afternoon, around 15:00, we waited in shade with WiFi from a cafe next to us. Our ride only took us to the edge of town but the spot was very comfortable with a lot of traffic that can easily stop.

Many of the cars coming through here are going to Konya, there's a stop light where cars wait and they have plenty of time to think about giving you a ride, then there's a good shoulder for them to pull over. Only complaint about the spot is it's very exposed to the elements if weather is rough.
