The way to Iraq.walk over the river and reach out of the town. Many cars are actually taxis taking people to the border. Trucks will be for free though.

To Sirnak or even Van if you have time. The road from Sirnak to Siirt is not paved and trucks are extremely slow on it (20kmh) cars are rare on that portion. Besides, there are military checkpoints quite often. The road to Hakari is paved but has too many checkpoints.―Anonymous
