Btter spot is maybe a couple of hundred meters further on, on the highway. The spot on the highway is good for rides south towards Izmir. Stand on the shoulder after the traffic lights. To get here it's a 45 minute walk from the city center. Try to hitch while walking - I got a lift to the highway, which saved me some sweat...―Tomtom
