-Direction Akyaka-Very high frequented spot with restaurants and a gas station. Get some drinks and food while you wait.
I asked around and very quickly met some young men driving to marmaris to party and meet friends. They took me straight to akyaka, first and last ride of the day!
To get there I took the train from Izmir Alsancak to Sağlik and walked the rest. Had to pass beneath the highway and climb over a fence but it was fine.

To me, this is the easiest way to get out of the city to go to south.Take Izban for 2 TRY to Cumaovasi direction. Get off at the last station. Walk for 700 meters.
The road is busy enough, there is space for cars to stop.

Good spot to Izmir and south. There are not so many cars but you just have to wait until you will find someone to Izmir. You can also ask the drivers directly. There is also a bus station directly at the spot.―Hanno

We took bus 729 to the last stop Atakoy from Menderes for 14 liras in 2024. Walked out to main road going to Ephesus, a car stopped soon going to Ahmet Beyli but driver was very kind and took us even closer.―JulianayJulian

Good spot but I don‘t know how to get there by Bus. But when you once arrived there, it is really good. Cars are going slow and they can easily stop. I got a direct lift to Denizli.―Hanno
