Looks like a good spot for south Anglesey, but I waited 30 minutes without a ride. I walked further down the road.http://hitchwiki.org/en/Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

Got a ride direct to Chester after 10 minutes. Cars are travelling fast, but the driver who left me here said he often sees hitchhikers at this spot.http://hitchwiki.org/en/Bangor_(Wales)

Probably the best place you can reach by foot for hitching out of Caernarfon if you want to go via Snowdonia (very scenic) - still quite a bit of local traffic though, and I ended up pointlessly trudging on for a couple more miles.―Anonymous

An apparently good place to hitch on through Snowdonia, marred by the fact that most passing motorists are English tourists who notoriously don't pick up hitchhikers - took me about 1.5 hrs to get away from.―Anonymous

It's not the safest place, but there's a chance to get somebody to Holyhead. Cars are driving fast, so you must be patient, but in the end you gonna be succesfull.―Anonymous

Great place! Cars going slow, and the road is straight for good visibility. Enjoy riding through Snowden!―Anonymous

Got a lift to Porthmadog here quite quickly (rain might have helped) although bit of a pain to get to, I walked along Rhedyw Rd from Llanllyfni then climbed down to this layby from the bridge over the A road.―celia

Got a lift to Caernarfon after 10 minutes, spot was easy to get to from Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. Cars aren't going that fast and there's space to pull in―Anonymous

Plenty of services and traffic. Got offered a ride to Dolgellau but they decided to go a bit further and dropped me off in Machynlleth―Anonymous
