Not a prime spot. The west road going directly onto the motorway is fast with no ideal spot for a car to stop. The north road allows a car to stop though but much less traffic passing on it. My lift did come from the west road and pulled just off the road onto the grass so not entirely impossible just inconvenient.―Breno

Great for N.Devon (A361) > M5 North. if heading south use a sign.Great for M5 North or South to N.Devon (A361). Remember to stop at J27, and walk to the pull in, which is close.

Trying to get to London with a sign. Waited on the side of the exit that leads onto the M5 for 30 minutes. Then moved to the entrance of the services and waited for 20 minutes before a nice lady with her dog picked me up and took me as far as she could.―Testicle
