There is a petrol station around here ! a god place to head south... Take the bus from Glasgow city center (buchanan station) to uddingston and ask the driver to be dropped the closest as possible to the M74, the petrol station !!―Anonymous

There's a traffic light for the traffic going down to the M8 direction Ednburgh... walking on the side of the road showing a sign when the light is read should work. I waited 15 minutes to get a lift to Edinburgh but I was proposed almost immediately a lift to Stirling.―Anonymous

One time I waited here 15 minutes for a ride, another time I waited 6 hours, on average its 2-3 hours. Really hit and miss at this place. Get there as early as possible if you can and hope to get a ride quickly.―Haggismn
