Hitching towards Bath, there's a small road on the left where cars can pull and the traffic is slow anyway, got a lift in 5min―Anonymous

There's a bus stop and people are driving slowly through the town, much better spot than further on the road where people are just driving too quickly.And you can also take the bus to bath.
