Good spot from Liverpool to Wales. Take a train or bus to Hooton, and walk 15-20 minutes. Do not waste your time at the petrol station or the church - walk PAST those places - this junction is more visible and has more space for drivers to stop. I waited at the entrance of the gas station shell and waited less than 3 minutes to get a ride ! There is a lot of traffic, especially to Manchester (whre i was going to) and people go to get some gas before driving. A very good place !―MaëlBZH

It's a good spot for both directions. There's just one-way road from petrol station, bus wide, so for a small stop perfect. Cars are driving slowly and it's kinda safe spot.―Anonymous
