A blind corner as cars are speeding up for the motorway. There is space to stop. Maybe try along London Road but there’s not many good spots to stop around the roundabout―Breno

I find lifts in Oxfordshire take a bit longer than average. Good spot for cars to stop in the bus bay. Despite the rain made it halfway to London!!―Breno

my parents live at the top of the hill so I have tried this route a few times and the only times I got picked up were by a family friend, my father picks up hitchhikers sometimes though so you never know...―Anonymous

surprisingly smiley people (if you're smiling!). good spot for London, lots of opportunity for them to slow down and give you attention, and little layby.―raff8ty

June 2025 - M40 west. After giving up on a spot in London I went here. About 30 mins walk from the train station, you have to smash down some brambles and it is a slipway so technically not legal, but it took no time at all and I actually got all the way to my destination in the Cotswolds―Anonymous
