Don't wait here for a ride south, not many people stop, and those who do are going to Chester―AK1204

Good spot from Liverpool to Wales. Take a train or bus to Hooton, and walk 15-20 minutes. Do not waste your time at the petrol station or the church - walk PAST those places - this junction is more visible and has more space for drivers to stop. After 5-10 minutes, I got a ride to Anglesey.http://hitchwiki.org/en/Liverpool

Not good. You'll wait for a long time, get a lot of abuse and the like. I ended up walking to the next junction, several miles to the East.―Anonymous

It's a good spot for both directions. There's just one-way road from petrol station, bus wide, so for a small stop perfect. Cars are driving slowly and it's kinda safe spot.―Anonymous

Cars are not going too fast.Good to have a sign with the name of the motorway.
Almost no space to stop but there was not a lot traffic so cars could stop quickly on the road.
