Me and a friend waited only 15mins at around 7:30am and got a lift going to London. We stood just before the petrol station. It worked well as people are slowing down because of the lights and can pull in to the petrol station easily if they want to pick you up. Staff also let us use the toilet there.―UkHitcher

il faut se poser avant le rond point car il n'y a pas de place a la sortie pour aller sur l'autoroute direction londres. il y a pas mal de trafic et les voitures sont ralenti ou arrêté avant le rond point donc elles ont le temps de nous voir et nous prendre.―Anonymous

This posiion isn't in Lewes but in Falmer which isn't really a town.Its on the outskirts of Brighton and not a good hitching spot.―TG1
