despite looking like a decent place to get a lift from, its actually a very poor place, people don't like picking up from here. You could quite literally get stuck here for a day or two its that bad. Best advice is head back south to South Stafford J12 interchange, then ask who ever stops for you, can they take you as far as Knutsford services or further.

I ended up here multiple times while hitching to stoke-on-trent (about half an hour south on the motorway so NOT an uncommon place for drivers to pass.)
I'd always get a lift eventually but it would take ages, an hour or two, and I'm a lone young woman so most people will wait longer.
