What are you doing hitchhiking in this part of the world? Better be towards Norwich, because that's where everyone is going.The guy in the petrol station said he had worked here for 4 years and had never seen a hitchhiker here before. This spot is QUIET. At one point the only car at the petrol station was the one belonging to the guy working behind the till. Despite the low footfall, the good thing is pretty much everyone stopping here is going to be heading north towards Norwich. So if that's the direction you're headed in, this is a good spot.

Just after the roundabout is the best place to hitch as traffic is still slow. Most of the traffic is heading towards London.―Anonymous

Never hitched from this spot before, but loads of traffic heading to London/Cambridge, and a good layby to pull in.―Anonymous
