If you've made it here, you're minutes away from a ride to Laughlin. Many times I've hitched from Vegas to Laughlin and wound up here and get a ride pretty quickly.―Kenny Flannery

I've hitched from around here, just continuously walking until I get a ride, many times, maybe a dozen heading to Vegas. It's hit or miss. The worst was once when a state trooper stopped to check my ID and tell me I could walk, but if they drove by or someone called in saying I had my thumb out again they'd have to write me a ticket, and if they were to catch me again after that they'd have to take me in. There were a lot of different style cop cars after that (cruisers, pickup trucks, SUVs, etc) which made it difficult to tell from a distance which vehicles were cop cars, so on that particular day I walked for hours, still thumbing when I was confident it wasn't a cop, and finally getting a truck ride all the way to Vegas. That experience aside, usually get a ride in 30 minutes or less.―Kenny Flannery

Hitched from here several times heading to Phoenix or Ash Fork usually. Takes a little longer than it feels like it should, but not horrible. Usually the person is going to Kingman, or sometimes not going that far originally but decides to go the extra bit to be nice. If they are going to Kingman, angle to get dropped off on the east side of the city by the Flying J, that's the best spot for heading towards Phoenix or eastbound.―Kenny Flannery
