Hitchhike from truck stop exit, where truckers leave property. Cops do NOT want hitchhikers standing at on-ramps. Too dangerous there. You may have to wait 1-2 hours for a ride, but it will be long. I have hitchhiked both east and west from here. Beware of gay drivers looking for favors. Many of them use this spot to find sex.―Anonymous

I waited about 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon (just before sunset) with a sign that said Victorville. Getting a lift farther could be difficult because most traffic is "local," leaving Ontatio Mills from a day of shopping. To get lifts from here, you'll have to be relatively clean looking.―Anonymous

Lots of trucks here, but no rides, stood here for several hours before giving up. All of the exits between here south to Corona were not productive. I finally gave up and walked all the way to the last exit in corona, camped out, and got a ride the next morning.―Anonymous
